COMPARISON
Google Calendar is strong for meetings and events, but it is not built around focus timers, task execution, or productivity review.
A task app calendar view shows tasks on dates, but it may not connect them to focus sessions, project time, and analytics.
An automation connector can move data between apps, but it usually adds workflow setup, rules, and maintenance.
Kronos Google Calendar integration connects calendar context with tasks, projects, focus sessions, timers, and productivity review.
Go to the Integrations area in Kronos settings and find Google Calendar.
Select Google Calendar from the available integrations.
Allow Kronos to access Google Calendar so sync can be enabled for your account.
Turn on Google Calendar sync inside Kronos.
During setup, Kronos can sync existing tasks to Google Calendar. This may take a moment.
If sync needs attention, use the available Sync Now, Reconnect, or Retry Sync controls in Kronos.
If access is missing, grant Google Calendar permission from the Kronos integration settings before enabling sync.
If authorization expires or is revoked, use the Reconnect control in Kronos to restore Google Calendar access.
If initial sync fails, use Sync Now or Retry Sync in Kronos, and re-authorize Google Calendar if prompted.
Google Calendar sync timing depends on Google delivery, connection state, and whether realtime sync or polling mode is active.
Review the pending and error counts in Kronos sync status, then retry sync after checking that calendar access is still active.
Polling mode can appear when realtime sync is unavailable. Kronos can still sync, but updates may not feel instant.
Disabling Google Calendar sync stops automatic syncing, but Kronos keeps existing tasks and projects.
